Duo to Return to NYC area for 2 Recitals

04/21/2023

The award-winning art song duo of Jared Andrew Michaud and Christina Maria Koti presented recitals inspired by Greece at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in Manhattan, NYC and at Yale University (Provost’s House) in February. You can read a review of the former recital in the National Herald here.

The duo is excited to return to the US for two more recitals, now in New Jersey. On March 6, the duo present a private recital at Cherry Brook Arts in Princeton, NJ. The next afternoon, they will perform a free public concert at the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Tickets are available here. The program focuses on love in springtime and highlights a wide variety of music in English, German, French, Russian, and Greek, from selections from Bolcom’s Cabaret Songs to Beethoven’s An die ferne Geliebte (the first song cycle ever written). Translations for these concerts can be found below.
